The Secret Behind Many Successful Internet Marketers
In the world of Internet Marketing, or any self-grown business through entrepenuership, there are few determining factors which determine a persons success… at least in my opinion.
These few factors are ultimately what “Makes or Breaks” thousands of people trying to make money online. I think it’s extremely important that way take time in our daily lives to acknowledge these concepts and meditate on them if you will.
1. Productivity – Are you taking time to really work towards your goals and on your business? All to often we find ourselves checking our e-mails, our various accounts… heck even our myspace or facebook account. But does this kind of obsessive checking have a positive or negative impact on your business? This is a very important concept that I learned from Dave Lakhani, one of my favorite writers and entrepenuers. It is ever so important that we limit our time checking our accounts, checking e-mails and get back to working in our business. By doing so you will increase your productivity through the roof. Set up a specific amount of time just for producing. If you need help doing so, I highly suggest reading some of Daves books – check out http://www.boldapproach.com/ to learn more!
2. Experience – Trial and Error, Rise and Fall, Accomplishment and Failure! This is key to becoming more than you ever thought possible. Every, I MEAN EVERY, successful person, online or not, has had their share of accomplishments and failures and the ability to learn from them. This is ultimately the most overlooked concept and all too often most people quit when success is just around the corner. Like the pheonix rising from the ashes, you got to get back up and continue moving and continue “producing”. The biggest difference from a “winner” or a “loser” is that when a winner loses, he/she gets themselves back up!
3. Faith in Success (Positivity) – Being sure, that no matter what happens, you will succeed, is vital to being successful. Knowing that you are becoming the Master at what you want to achieve is of the utmost importance. Don’t sell yourself short, you probably know a lot more than you realize and are probably more of an authority than you’ve ever imagined. Use this to help you create success in your life… It has mine.
4. Help Others – Don’t be afraid to kick down a little good fortune now and then. A little good Kharma goes a long way. People remember how good you are to them. If you are an Internet Marketer, you visitors, customers and subscribers are your best asset. Treat them with sincerety, honesty and give them the best you have to offer. They will appreciate you to no-end.
5. Stay Accountable – Don’t Be A Flake – In today’s society and in customer service, its becoming more and more apparent that we are becoming more and more un-accountable for our actions. Take charge of situations. Don’t wait for them to call you. Reply to your e-mails, and if you just don’t have time, make it clear to those e-mailing you that you don’t. Poor accountability is the #1 way to piss someone off royaly, and you will lose all trust.
These five factors can greatly determine ones success or failure in not only in the Internet Marketing world, but also in every day business and socializing. It really comes down to being highly proactive, responsible and treating others with respect. These are characteristics that every successful person has under their belt. In the Internet Marketing world, it’s not their e-mail list size, it isn’t their knowledge on SEO and Website Promotion, it’s not their Sales Copy! These things will come, but only with experience, activity, trial and error and treating your customers, clients, visitors and subscribers extremely well.

Gabe good call!
I like all of the five factors.
Productivity is a killer point. Killing email time will put life into an online business. There are way too many distractions otherwise.
