These are things that many people never really even think about, especially in day-to-day life. In fact, many people have no idea what most of this stuff really means. The Internet Marketing community may seem large at times, but in all respect, I’ve met very few people in my daily life that have even attempted publishing a website, used contextual advertising or even wrote an article to publish to the web. Most people are quite comfortable with a 9-5, and that is perfectly fine. But what about those who want more?
When I woke up this morning, I felt excited. I felt that every day is another opportunity to grow, another opportunity to advance, and another opportunity to make an impact on other people. Isn’t that was Internet Marketing is all about?… Making an impact on other people?
It’s a beautiful thing, really. The Internet is a place of unlimited possibilities and in order to succeed it only takes time, persistence, drive and experience and eventually you’ll come out successful.
There is also something to be said about “mindset” and being able to overcome obstacles and achieving goals through assertive positive actions and really “taking charge” of your very existence. It is said we “become” what we most repeatively “do”. It really takes a different kind of mindset to be able to hit the keyboard every day without being told to do so.
So keep this in mind, when you feel like you’ve lost your way. Appreciate the various talents you’ve been given and don’t believe it when people tell you that you’re just a “dreamer” and try to make you feel defeated. They just don’t see the world as you do.
